ملاحظات بالنسبة لفحص طرائق التدريس

Good Morning

The required Chapters for TM exam:
Two, Three, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine
In addtion to the first two lectures which were not entirely from the book: Lecture one: First Language Acquisition, and Lecture Two: Second Language Acquisition.

You should focus on the work and theories of the following people:
- Chomsky (Universal Grammar, and all ideas related to it)
- Randolph Quirk: his ideas can be found in Chapters 2 and 5
- Fries (chapter 9)
- Sapir
- Lewis (Lexical Approach)
- A. D. Wilkins (Chapter 6)

You need to focus on all teaching methods, and the last chapter (Language Skills) is important too.
Do not forget to read and understand highlighted passages from the book, and all passages related to the theories of the people mentioned above.

The style of questions is going to be a bit similar to the previous two.

مساء الخير
شكرا و موفقين جميعا

بالنسبة لمحاضرة اليوم كانت حل نموذج الاسئلة السابقة و رح تنعاد الأربعاء القادم بنفس التوقيت.

طريقة حل الاسئلة هي:
السؤال الأول عادة بيكون تحديد جمل صح او خطأ مع تصحيح الخطأ (انتباه: الخطأ لن يكون قواعدي أو املائي او لغوي بشكل عام و انما بالمعنى), و الحل عادة بسطرين او ثلاثة مثال:
Teaching pronunciation is easier than teaching grammar because it can be reduced to a system.
Answer: the statement is wrong because even though pronunciation can be reduced to a system it still involves dealing with many dialects, and varieties of the language.
OR: the statement is wrong because grammar as a system is more restricted than pronunciation and is not as variable.

السؤال الثاني عادة سؤال مقارنة او ربط أفكار ببعضا و عادة المقارنة بتكون بنقطة معينة و ليس بكل شيء. المطلوب تحديد اوجه الاختلاف و التشابه مع شرح و جواب السؤال عادة ما اكثر من 10 اسطر.
و ممكن استخدام اما جدول مقارنة أو paragraph عن الاختلاف و paragraph عن التشابه او اي طريقة بتريحكن طالما الافكار صحيحة.

السؤال التالت عادة سؤال essay مع انو التركيز على شكل المقال ليس اساسي, يعني ممكن الجواب يكون paragraph.
السؤال التالت بيكون اما:
شرح عبارة من المقاطع المحددة بالكتاب مع التعليق على اهميتها.
أو
توضيح فكرة معينة باسلوبكن, مثلا اعطاء رأيك بمشاكل تتعلق بتعلم اللغة عند الاطفال أو سؤال فهم بشكل عام
السؤال التالت هو اختبار للفهم اكتر من الحفظ (و باقي الاسئلة نفس الشي)

نقاط هامة جدا ارجو الانتباه اليها:
- ترقيم الاجابات ضروري جدا, بنفس اسلوب ترقيم الاسئلة
- عدم وضع اي اشارات لا تتعلق بالمادة
-ترك سطر بالاجابة (سطر اي سطر لاء) عند الامكان
- محاولة الاجابة على كل الاسئلة و عدم ترك اي سؤال بدون جواب, حتى لو ظن الطالب انو الجواب قد يكون غير مقنع او غير صحيح بيبقى افضل من لا شيء

انتباه: يوجد نقاط غير مطلوبة لهذا العام, بالتالي سأضع الاسئلة المتعلقة فقط بالنقاط و المواضيع المطلوبة لهذا العام:

- As long as there is close attention, motivation is not important in learning.
- Impairment in cognitive skills could cause slowness in language acquisition.

Question 3:
