I see things complicated and repeated however, my best piece of advice is that when you are not sure just write the clause fully ie; dont delete the relative pronouns by the way, never expect anybody that bother themselves and help here |

السلام عليكم : للحق حاولت افهمها بالضبط هلأ الموضوع عن participle clauses و بيتفرع منها ال ing-clauses و بعد ماشرحولك كيف بتجي ing-clauses بالفقرة B بحيث انو ممكن نستخدم ال ing-clause بدل الاسم الموصول المعرف و كمثال , حطو : The land stretching away to the left all belongs to Mrs Thompson. OR The land which stretches away to the left all belongs to Mrs Thompson يعني شالو الاسم الموصول اللي بيعرف الفعل بالجملة التانية و حطو بدالو بس stretching كما في الجملة الأولى سؤالك عن الفقرة C اللي بتخبرك انو مو دائماً بإمكانا نستخدم ال ing-clause محل الاسم الموصول المعرف , وانو في استثناءات لهل قاعدة : 1- وقت بكون في اسم بين الاسم الموصول Who و الفعل المعرف , بالمثال : في بين Who و الفعل meet اسم Tim The man who TIm is meeting for lunch is from Taiwan فهون ما بيصح اجي حط ing-clause و ساويها : NOT The man Time meeting for lunch is from Taiwan مشان هيك حطولك Not يعني ما بتصير هيك جملة , وانو شوفي كيف بتصير غلط 2- بالحالة التانية : اللي ما بنقدر نستخدم فيها ing-clause هي وقت بيجي الحدث او الاكشن اللي بيوصوفو الاسم الموصول , بيجي قبل الحدث او الاكشن اللي جاية ببقية الجملة , باستثناء وقت بكون الحدث الاول هو نتيجة الحدث التاني و كمثال : اقتباس: وقت بيجي الحدث او الاكشن اللي بيوصوفو الاسم الموصول , بيجي قبل الحدث او الاكشن اللي جاية ببقية الجملة سقوط الثلج اجا قبل ما يتجمد و يتحول ل ice او ثلج قاسي The snow which fell overnight has turned to ice. NOT The snow falling overnight has turned to ice. The snow which fell overnight has caused traffic chaos. OR The snow falling overnight has caused traffic chaos. The girl who fell over on the ice broke her arm. NOT The girl falling over onthe ice broke her arm. يعني البنت وقعت و خلصت و انكسرت ايدها أما اذا هالحدث ما اكتمل , فبإمكاننا نحط ing-clause متل : I pulled off the sheets which covered the furniture. OR I pulled off the sheets covering the furniture يعني سحبت الشراشف اللي بتغطي المفروشات , وفيني رجع هالشراشف , بس البنت اللي انكسرت ايدا ما بئدر رجعها و ترجع ايدا سليمة يعني وقت بتلائي Not يعني ما بصير , ووقت بتلائي OR يعني بصير امممم بتمنى يكون هالشرح صحيح و فادك موفقة ....................... |

They have no antecedent and none is intended; that is, they are indefinite, for example, The density mode is preferred provided that optical properties are measured. Given a variable factor, the fluctuating flow components can be calculated from equations (31) to (38). Either the density mode or the pressure mode can be used, depending on whether supporting optical measurements or probe measurements are made. Other idiomatic absolute participles are generally speaking concerning considering regarding judging beginning Such constructions must be truly absolute, with no antecedent in the sentence. In the following sentence, what appears to be an absolute participle is actually dangling: Dang. partic. An arbitrary factor controls the accuracy of the calculation depending on pressure fluctuations. Better A variable factor depending on pressure fluctuations controls the accuracy of the calculation. Technical writing often contains absolute participles that are not idiomatic, for example, The arbitrary factor can be assumed to be small and therefore can be neglected, yielding a first-order solution. Such a participle might be justified by arguing that it is an absolute adjective construction modifying the whole sentence. However these participles can sometimes be made adverbial: The arbitrary factor can be assumed to be small and therefore can be neglected to yield a first-order solution. Sometimes a participle at the end of a sentence is not absolute, but actually modifies the subject in a nonrestrictive way: Nonrestrictive partic. Increasing the leak area caused the boundary layer to attach, thus decreasing heat transferred to the cove interior. |

* الفتاة التي سقطت على الجليد , كسرت ذراعها ( هنا الاكشن اللي هوي سقوط الفتاة و كسر ذراعها تم وانتهى ) NOT The girl falling over onthe ice broke her arm لايصح قول : الفتاة الساقطة على الجليد , كسرت ذراعها _____ * I pulled off the sheets which covered the furniture * سحبت الشراشف التي تغطي الأثاث ( هون ما في اكشن, حدث عادي مستمر , ممكن كل يوم يصير و عادي ) OR I pulled off the sheets covering the furniture. The boy who swam in the pool has drown فما بيصح قول : The boy swiming in the pool has drown ليه : ( قوليلي لشوف ؟ ) .......... I'v cleaned the room which contains some old things |
