01. Do not think you need special effects or big-budget drama.
02. Do not eschew the plain.
03. Do not assume you know more than your characters do, or condescend, even to children.
04. Do not try to make your characters consistent. Life does not.

06. Do not give us a steady point of view.
07. Do not stick to what you know firsthand.
08. Do not look away from anything.
09. Do not be linear or too sensible.
10. Do not be afraid of going where you have never been before.

Hi Sheba
I can only comment on movies because that is usually my territory..... I have seen all the award ceremonies last year and those movies were always nominated or awarded especially The Queen and Helen Mirren who won all the awards concerning the best female performance in a leading role finishing them with an oscar
