Yahya Frederickson






He was the first American teacher who came to Al-Baath University in 2005 to teach us Composition 2. We cannot forget his brilliant thoughts and ideas about the oriental society. His name was Todd; however, he entered Islam and changed his name to be Yahya. Anyone of those who were attending his lectures cannot forget how he obliged them to laugh heartily. In the last lecture, we all stood up to applause to him, and too many students presented him memorable gifts. He gave six (100) marks and most of the marks were too high. We were too happy to meet such a person like him.
For me, I invited him to my home, and it was a memorable meeting between us .Then we prayed together at Al-Rwadah Masjid at Al-Waar Street . We took a walk together, and I showed him my lovely city, Hims; moreover, a friend of mine invited him to visit Hama , and to have a photo in front of the Noriahs. When he turned back to USA, we were communicating via e-mails. I choose to put this photo because I took it for him at Aldablan Street. I will try my best to invite him to visit this forum..

Nawwar, I think you should say "warmest regards" not hottest

I've heard about Dr.Yahya but unfortunately I've never attended any lecture for him
Good teachers always inspire us to study more and more and sometimes they become as our examples
