Ramadan's Importance

It is not only the month of fasting and worshipping because it is a holy gift from God, and it has many advantages in health, history, and life style.

Historically, it is the month in which Allah sent the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), and it is the month in which Muslims struck the victory for the first time.

Healthily, there are many scientific facts that assure that fasting process has many medical advantages. For example ; it is very useful to make blood perfect and it can strengthen our bodies.

Ramadan teaches us how to organize our time. We start eating when we hear the calling of the Evening prayer , we go for Trarawih prayer after hearing the calling of the Night prayer , and some of us used to eat a light meal before daybreak .

In short , Ramadan is a distinguished month. It has religious , healthy , and historical importance ; moreover, it is a task for us forever.

tired if they work while fasting.Some are angry all the time and treat all

We must recognize the spiritual values of Ramadan.The more we do
good deeds and help the others,the more our reward will be increased.We

Ramadan is a distinguished month in the year for the Muslims .It has many advantages in the religious level and the social level
In the religious level, Ramadan is the month in which the Muslims are ordered by Allah to fast every day from the daybreak to the sunset. Muslims learn in this month how to feel the feeling of the poor and the hungry. Also, they learn how to be patients and who to control their selves and desires. Moreover, Allah the Almighty double the rewards in this blessed month when we do good deeds such as reading the Holy Quran, giving charities, feeding the fasters, and visiting the relatives. Besides that, in Ramadan we have a special prayer after the night prayer. It is called Al tarawih prayer. In Ramadan, the doors of paradise are opened and the doors of the hell are closed and the shaitans are prisoned.
So, Ramadan is a chance for every one to clean his heart from hatred and to ask Allah the mercy and the forgiveness by increasing the worship and the good deeds.
In the social level, in Ramadan, we have special traditional foods such as Ramadan bread, liquorice drink, and dates pie. Also, Ramadan is the month of shopping. People go shopping to buy new clothes in order to prepare them selves for Al Fatter Eide after Ramadan
More over, Ramadan is the only opportunity for some families in which the members of the family can eat to gather..
In addition, in our Arab countries, we have an old tradition in Ramadan; a man walks in the streets after the midnight and hold a small drum to call the people to eat a light meal before the daybreak
In brief, Ramadan month is a gift from Allah. So, we have to work hard, increase our worship, and do a lot of good deeds in order to enjoy the advantages of this blessed month. .
