Hi I just want to know what r the meters of these poems and if it possible the foot. 1"The lover complayenth the unkindness of his love" by Sir Thomas Wyatt 2"A renouncing of love" by Sir Thomas Wyatt 3"From Astrophel and Stella" by Sir Philip Sidney the poem starts: With how sad steps . . . 4"Song" by Thomas Nashe the poem starts: Adieu, farewell earth blisse. . . 5"A valediction: Forbidding Mourning" by John Donne 6"The Definition of love" by Andrew Marvell 7"To his coy mistress" by Andrew Marvell plz coz the exam on Sunday and I have to know at least the name of the meter and foot. Sonnets are always iambic pentameter . Right? |
