I. Answer All the following questions: (32 marks)


A. Explain what do these symbols and abbreviations mean:
"Y," "X," "NB.," "AI," "GATT," "deminis rule."

B. How can writers reach their readers?

C. Give the Antonyms of:
(ridiculous, gregarious, corpulent, erudite, fastidious)

II. Write a 35-40 line well-organized essay on either One of the following: (68 marks)

1. An essay in which you Compare and Contrast Socialism to Capitalism.

2. An essay of Cause and Effect in which you discuss Co-education.

3. A Definition Essay where you tell about "Slavery" or "Literature."

4. A Directive Process Essay about the way the Arab Nation can awaken and regain its dignity.

5. An Essay of Analysis about the fundamental issues that help men and women lead a healthy life .
