Actually, the oral question was my favourite question. It is really interesting and challengeable

Well, here are some hints that you should take into consideration:

- Practice makes perfect; you should practise at home before the exams by trying to listen to some English clips and translate them while listening directly. Do not give up if you face any difficulty. It is normal and your performance and listening skill will improve after practising.

- During the exam do your best not to write the oral question totally in English but in Arabic, simply because this question will turn into a dictation one and not an interpretation one, in addition, some doctors prevent such a thing. However, it will be very useful if you write the word acronym or the abbreviation when the original term occurs in the text.
Example: if the term (United States of America) occurs in the text do not translate it as a whole in Arabic write it as "USA" in the draft so you will save time and after the doctor finish reading, you can write it as a whole in the final piece of translation.

- Try your best to concentrate while listening; the text will be read twice only and try to fill the gaps in the second reading.

- If you cannot recognize some words .. write them as you hear in English or even in Arabic and after the doctor leaves, you may remember or guess the word according to the context.
