Basil, Nice idea. Thank you very much  I'd like to suggest to add some explanation where is necessary in order to get the meanig properly Well, here are mine: As cool as a cucumber: when you describe sb to be "as cool as a cucumber" that means that s/he is very relaxed, calm, and unemotional. As quiet as a mouse: when you describe sb to be "As quiet as a mouse" that means that s/he is very quiet or silent. By the way, in English this idiom has a positive meaning while in Arabic it may sound negative  Sticky for 10 days |

as good as his word= this means that s/he doesn't go back when s/he says a word.

As bright as a button: when you say this idiom to sb that means: the person is very intelligent, full of energy, or very cheerful. |

Yes, I think that these idioms are as clear as a bell as harmless as a dove I think so, they don't need expressions, easy and clear. |

 I think it is one of two , either it is for high purity , or it is for feeling sick . the other possibility is just to highlight the quality and quantity of the green color of the thing wich is meant while talking
