السلام عليكم حابة أعطيكم بعض الأمثلة عن كلمات نحنة أحيانا" نستخدمهم بشكل خاطئ 1- تنجز وظائفها ليلا" she does her homework at night وليس she makes her homework 2- سيتقدم الى الامتحان he is going to take an examination وليس he is going to make 3- انك ترتكب دائما" الأخطاء you always make mistakes وليس you always do mistakes 4- لديها ساعة ذهبية she has a gold watch وليس she has a golden watch 5- هذا اليوم شديد الحرارة this day is very hot وليس this day is too hot |

Thank u Roro, but I think you cannot say "this day". Instead, you can say "today" because the former is not good English. Fares, this can be of interest to you and hope will answer your question: Too" is always used in a negative way. We use "very" in an affirmative way. "Too" means opposed to "very". For example," it is too noisy in this street," this means we hope it is quieter. "Today is too hot," this means we wish the weather becomes cool." The cat is very cute." This means the cat is cute, we like it. |

Thank u Safwat ,Fares ,and Alec Alec u have said that i can't say "this day" but i don't think it is wrong i mean that i can say "this day" or "today" and both of them are correct Fares : ur question is very good تستخدم too للتعبير عن تجاوز الحد المقبول للقيام بعمل ما مثل: 1- انه أشد كسلا" من أن يعمل he is too lazy to work 2- الجو اليوم أشد حرارة من ان نقوم بنزهة this day is too hot to walk قارن بين هاتين الجملتين: 1- that box is too heavy for Bob to lift 2- that box is very heavy , but Bob can lift it in the speaker's mind , the use of too implies a negative result in 1 it is impossible for Bob to lift that box in 2 it is possible but difficult for Bob to lift that box و بالتوقيييييييييييييييييييييييييق
