انا شو دخلني هنن بالمكتبة قالولي هي رواية فوستس وانا ماخطر عبالي الموضوع انو مسرحية لانو مافكرت بهيك تفصيل بس معك حق شي بضحك  شكرا الك اقتباس:

المحاضـــرة الثـــــالثة page (13) Mephmstophilis (Therefore the shortest ……Belzebub) Belzebub is a devil in hell. He is the door devil in hill . Page (13) Faustus: (To whom ……men’s soul) Unlike Mephostophilis who regards “men’s soul as glorious” ,Faustus dismisses them as “vain trifles” Page(13-14) Faustus ( And what ……….bliss) Faustus seems to be spiritually blind because he fails to appreciate the real implication of Mephostophilis ’words. He does not realize that Mephostophilis’ unhappiness is a reflection of his repentance after he has followed Lucifer. This inspection reveals that Faustus personal tragedy line in his spiritual blindness . In fact, Mephostophilis is extremely unhappy because he has been expelled from heaven and deprived of “the eternal joys of heaven .” Page(14-15) Mephostophilis (I will Faustus …..) Does Faustus conceive of his soul as something glorious? Of course , he does not because he expresses his readiness to sell it away. |

P(13) Faustus (To whom …….men’s souls) Unlike Mephostophilis who regards “men’s soul as glorious” , Faustus dismisses them as “vain trifles” P(13) Faustus (Tell me……….heaven) Lucifer was an angel that was greatly loved by God . However , he disobeyed God , and hence he was thrown out of heaven . Lucifer was expelled from heaven by reason of his “ aspiring pride and insolence.” P(14) Mephostophilis (O Faustus ………fainting soul) Mephostophilis is very sorrowful because Faustus is asking him questions which torment his soul . P(14-15) Mephostophilis (I will Faustus …….) Does Faustus conceive of his soul as something glorious ? Of course , he does not because he expresses his readiness to sell it away . |

ACT II , SCENE I P(17) Faustus (Now Faustus ……..resolute ) Having decided to follow the devil , Faustus falls into despair . The latter means the state in which someone feels that God will no longer accept him or her . Enter the two Angels P(18) Good Angel (Sweet Faustus …..of wealth) The God Angel tells Faustus that “contrition , prayer , and repentance “ are the mean to take him to Heaven . Of course , he tells him so because he loves him . The Bad Angel , however , dismisses these acts of devotion as “ rather illusions and fruits of lunacy .”Unfortunately, Faustus listen to the Bad Angel who promises him much wealth. Enter Mephostophilis P(18 – 20) (Now tell me ………his soul) While writing the contract in which he will sell his soul . Faustus realizes that his blood has congealed . The congealing of his blood is very important ; it signifies his soul’s rejection of such a contract . Unfortunately , Faustus does not appreciate the significance of this matter . He proceeds with his contract , This intensifies Faustus’ spiritual blindness  . |

أنا عم نزل ملخص للمحاضرة...يعني مو كاملة.. واذا بتلاحظي الدكاترة مابأكدو على أي مصدر للمحاضرات بقولولك بتدرسي الرواية وبتفهميها..ومنها بيجي.. يعني مابقدر اكدلك هيك شي.. شكرا كتير لمتابعتك.. |

السلام عليكم : كريستوفر مارلو : Christopher Marlowe
اول مرة ما قرأنا عنه في تاريخ الأدب تم وصفه ب : The ornament of English Literature مفخرة الأدب الانكليزي بصراحة كنت من المتأثرين بمسرحيته Dr. Faustus سأتكلم عن بعض ما اثر بي اتجاهه و اتجاه مسرحيته هذه بإذن الله في تعقيبات قادمة

P(20) Faustus (What might ……..thee his soul) Unfortunately , Faustus does not realize that the congealing of his blood indicates that his soul is rejecting such a contact . Faustus , however , fails to take this in consideration . Mephostophilis bring him fire so that he can continue writing this contract in blood . P(21) Faustus: (What means ………whatsoever) P (23) Faustus: (But leaving………..i’ll no wife.) Faustus asks Mephostophilis to bring him a wife, but Mephostophilis refuses .Mephostophilis bring him a whore mainly because he does not want Faustus to get married because marriage is only right relationship between man and woman in the eyes of God . Thus, Mephostophilis wants Faustus to commit the sin of adultery. P(26-27) Faustus : (well, I am …….the world) Faustus asks Mephostophilis about the creator of the world .However , Mephostophilis refuses to answer such a question mainly because he dose not want Faustus to think of God, the creator of the world. He wants Faustus to stop thinking of God ; he wants him only to think of the devils . Here Faustus decides to think of God and leave magic . |

السلام عليكم : دوماً لكي تستوعب العمل الأدبي أكثر , عليك قراءة وفهم ال background الخاص به فمثلاً حياة الكاتب و الظروف التي مربها , كثيراً ما تؤثر على ما كتبه وعلى غايته في طرحه هذا العمل الأدبي Christopher Marlowe كاتب انكليزي معروف كان ضمن مجموعة ما يلقبوا ب University Wits اي نوابغ الجامعة اللذين عُرفوا في فترة العصر الذهبي لانكلترا والتي كانت تحكمها آنذاك الملكة اليزابيث الأولى عمدت الملكة اليزابيث بدهاءها الى استغلال و تشغيل بعض مما عرفوا ب نوابغ الجامعة الى جانبها كعملاء لها و للمملكة ومن بينهم كان كريستوفر مارلو لم يعش هذا الكاتب كثيراً , وتوفي وعمره لم يناهز الثامنة و العشرون في مشاجرة ظاهرها كان من اجل دفع فاتورة في حانة في حين انها قد تكون لدواعي سياسية هيك وقتا قريت واعتقد ان Dr. Faustus تعكس بشكل كبير ما كان يعانيه كريستوفر مارلو في أداءه لهذه المهمة و ان شخصية فاوستس ماهي الا تجسيد للكاتب نفسه و ما يمر به خوالج شعورية ففاوستس ذاك الطالب النابغة الذي رفض دراسة الطب لأن كره فكرة ان لا يوجد للموت دواء واغوته فكرة ان يكون شخصاً مميزاً و اغواه التعرف على العالم الغامض الذي سيحقق له مالا قد تحققه حياته العادية فتعلم السحر الاسود ظاناً من نفسه انه سيستطيع القيام بالمعجرات و تَعلُّم السحر الاسود يتطلب من المرء ان يوقع بدمه انه لا يمكن له التراجع يتبع ......... ملاحظة : هذا تحليل شخصي , كنت تبحرت فيه ايام الدراسة مستندة على ما كنت اقرأه و اتعلمه |
