Ahmad has finished some governmental applications in a very hot day of July, so he got exhausted .The most important thing he did is that he finished completing the applications of the graduation. As usual, he entered his room to have a rest and to have a glass of cold water put by his mother.

His mother entered his room and kissed him a kiss of consent in his forehead saying:
"Congratulations my son."
Ahmad was totally silent, but he kissed her hand. She quickly departed the room before she started to cry. Then she went visit her neighbor.

He turned to sit to the table he spent more than sixteenth years studying on it .He started touching its the leathery brown cover which has become somehow old , but it did not lose its brightness , and its threads are still fixed well on it.
He took a tissue to sweep the old alarm which is put on the middle of the top pf the table before the wall. He also swept the box which is so lovely to him during the last four years and because he gets power from this box because it is a gift from Jasmine's mother .Jasmine's mother drew a very beautiful picture on this box. She drew the picture of the sunset in a natural place like Heaven on it. Ahmad likes it so much, and it is connected with his sitting there on this table.

Ahmad then hold the most precious thing on his table which is the photo he adores. It is Jasmine's photo. Jasmine is Ahmad's "half" as he regards her .She is his house of his secrets, lovely smart cheerful colleague even with the fact that she has a blood-cancer, and his beloved. He used from time to time to change its frame and glass.

He took out the photo from its frame and as usual he started to navigate in every detail in the photo. He was staring at her light black eyebrows which are sharp like the scythes of the peasants, and her lashes which are the great words which opened the world long time ago, her honey eyes and her light brown complexion.
Then he stared at her rosy lips and smiled with the same style Jasmine did.

He closed his eyes to remember that time when she said: "I love you too." He remembered many nice things in but short seconds .Because he is too exhausted, he felt that ever muscle oh his body is perplexed. He said with a great sigh: "I need you to be always with me." A strong vertigo transfers Ahmad to an unknown time in a day which does not belong to a week does not belong to a month belongs to unknown year.
Jasmine came to him and said: "How are you?" "Congratulations for you graduation." " You deserve every good thing Ahmad because you have a heart like a fresh pure river and because your ambition surpasses everything in life , but as for me , I do not like this strange life because it is contaminated by the personal interest , injustice, tyranny , haughtiness , false love , forged tears , repression , and business art. Repression controls those who do not have a strong belief and they are weak to understand life."

Ahmad asked her : " What else ?" and when we will embrace each other and when can I hold in my arms as a little child?" " When Jasmine we will be able to get married ?"
" Go Ahmad …. Go and forget my body ." Jasmine replied .
" I love but you Jasmine ." Ahmad resumed .
" Me too , take my ideas and sow them in your mind , they are with my feelings yours." Jasmine said.
" But you are my life .' Ahmad said.
" Hush please . Hush . Your life does not cease with my absence .Do not complete your life in worry and despair. Jasmine said with an effective tone.
During this time, Ahmad was moving his head on his pillow unconsciously, unstable, sweating and tormented. His all senses were with Jasmine.
The bell of the phone rang; Ahmad awakened and jumped to reply .He saw the number of Jasmine's phone on the screen of his phone.
"Hello." Ahmad said.
"Congratulations my son." Jasmine's mother said.
"Thanks how are you doing, and how your exhibition goes?" Ahmad said.
"Fine, all of the paintings are ready, will you come?" Jasmine's mother asked.

"Of course I will come." Ahmad enthusiastically said.
"When will we visit our beloved Jasmine?" She asked with a lovely tone.
"When you want, and I will buy the roses she likes." Ahmad said.
"Ok, see you my son."
"Bye, my second mother." Ahmad said.
Ahmad washed his face and turned back to hold the photo again. He took a new frame and put the photo in it .He put the glass and put a black ribbon on the upper- left angle of it.

What an effective story !
When I read it at first I thought that it would carry a pleased end .... It is a sad story for the three members for Jasmine at first because she is waiting for her doomed day , for her mother because she will lose her daughter and her laugh at her house , and also for her lover who will be lost after her dying .... They are used to be with each other at every moment ... talking .... studying .... laughing ... playing ...
But I'm sure that Ahmad will never lose his hope and he will live and do every thing for his dying lover
