Four-line Poems

When I have something in my mind, and hold my pen to write something, I somtimes end up with four or six lines of poetry. The idea is complete and I discover that there is no need to add any more lines.

Dead inside

Delighted love is all you seek
And pure love is all I offer.
Though strong with you, inside I'm meek
I die each night of pain and suffer.

The late truth

Tell me what dreams I've been living in?
What sort of life did I choose?
What kind of emptiness I've been filling in?
I can't tell if I'm to win or lose.

Sweet Lies

It did came not fro thy heart.
For thee art known with deceive.
That word to my soul reacheth not.
Afraid are my ears to believe.

No Longer a Child

Madness had dissolved
The child inside got old
What left of that story died
Outside. Inside, a shining gold

A Prayer

I oft do take a moment off,
To view the sky above.
And whisper God a simple prayer,
Thanking him for your love.

For once in a lifetime,
Show me that you care.
That your arms are opened,
And you're really there.

Some of everything to share.

سأقرأ هذه "القصائد" القصيرة لاحقا ان شاء الله .. لكن ما بالكم ما ان تم افتتاح هذا القسم حتى بدأتم "تنهالون" عليه  بالمشاركات   هل بسبب غياب المشرف إلى الآن؟

سعيد بافتتاح هذا القسم .. أعتقد أننا سنستمتع بقراءة الإبداعات الآرتينية "الإنكليزية"  هنا ..

شكراً لكي نوال في الحقيقة انا لست من هوات كتابة القصائد أول اشعر في اللغةا لانكليزية .. ولكن الواضح بشكل جلي انك مبدعة في الشعر ..

Well, here are my first four lines  

Emptiness

Like a hero with no power
Like a scentless flower
Like a bird that cannot fly
Like a night with no moon in the sky
