eman, أول موضوع هو: The play as a comedy of manners give examples of the play's criticism of the social ills at the time (hypocrisy, affectation). طبعا بهاد الموضوع لازم: You have to discuss the meaning of comedy of manners. It's a play which deals with the social problems at the time. It's criticizes certain ills of the society at the time. Thus, through comedy dramatist can highlight many social problems and suggests ways through which these social mistakes can be rectified. In this scene a comedy of manners emerges as a didactic play because it teaches us certain lessons through comedy. After that we need to mention some examples which show the play concern with social ills. تاني موضوع هو: Characterization in the play: Miss. Kate, Mrs. Hardcastle, and Marlow. وبهاد الموضوع: In discussing the play writes technique of characterization you have to mention how we form our impressions about the characters. Here we have to use a comparative manner. You can compare Kate and her father or her mother or vise versa. أما آخر موضوع بهي المسرحية هو: The play attitude to marriage. وهون لازم: The theme of marriage is very significant in the play. In the play there are two approaches to the question of marriage. First of all, we have what we call a marriage of convenience is not a love marriage because it's based upon wealth and other material properties. The older generations favour this type of marriage for their children, but the younger generations prefer to enter into a love marriage. Here we need to discuss Kate and Marlow, Hasting and Miss.
