While reading your answer I got the impression that you are writing a topic for the exam. :mrgreen:

You gave introduction, body and conclusion :mrgreen:

As for me, I like both Autumn and Winter; but my favorite one is winter. When Cyrine asked about the favorite season I expected that 99,99% of members' answers is WINTER; maybe because it has romantic connotations and most people like to be romantic. :mrgreen:

I like winter for its coldness, no more no less; and I like fall because it represents 'wisdom'. In fall everything is mature.
I hate summer very much for its hot weather :evil:

Now as for spring, I think that nobody hates it. It represents 'beauty' and God likes beauty. So I do not expect anyone to hate this lovely season. :wink:

Today we will talk about colours :wink:

Some people prefer some colours that mean different things to them . For example ,RED is the symbol of love , YELLOW is the symbol of jealousy , BLACK is the symbol of sadness ,……etc.

Which colour do you prefer ?? Why ??
Do you think that there is a relationship between colours and feelings ??

Thank you Sayrian for this new topic. Actually, my favorite colours are blue and orange but nowadays Sayrian I swear to God I become (in love with) the black colour because I live a sad life (in which I face) many problems. Anyway I love ^ blue colour cause it is the coloure of the sky and (it gives) me a new life every day I live . Besides I prefer orenge cuz it makes me feel happy

I just want to drop a small note brother and I hope to bear it in mind especially in your exams and this note is not only for you but also for all :wink:

It was written:
my favorite .....etc
...blue colour ... etc

So "favorite" was written in American English while it is written as "favourite" in British English
In the same comment "colour" was written in British English while in American English it is written as "color"

You have to stick either to British or American English in your writing simply because you may lose marks because of such mixture; no matter whether it is British or American English, what really matters is to stick to ONE English style

Acually, you are good in this point but I have a question, Can we consider it as adeadly mistake?, in other meaning, if I do it in the exam ,does it mean I'll fail.

I like the white colour especially for flowers and roses because the existance of the white colour with the green one in nature makes me feel peace..There's also the colours that are related to the soil(I don't know how to translate it) but I mean those colours derived from the brown(Turabiah) they are so lovely especially in autumn

the season of rebirth as I call it.These colours always catch my eyes *sla

I like also the colours of girls :mrgreen:

Well, as I said you may lose marks because of such mixture. In addition, using British and American English spelling or even phrases in one essay or paragraph is not a professional way of writing especially for a student of English. So you have to stick to one of them :wink:

Well, as for me the colour I like most is green because it is the colour of my favourite gemstone and it is the colour of nature. Green ,as we know, gives us such relaxation.
I also like brown, blue, red, black and white. Actually, I do not know why I have such habit that when I'm in a bad mood I wear dark colours and when I'm in a good one I wear bright colours and I do that unconsciously. So colours affect our mood in a way or another.
