Arabs rescued to Arabicaization spontaneously and by necessity:
Examples:
قرنفل
دامسكس
ديباج
درهم : دراخمة
دينار : ديناروس
II – During Islam :
The huge number of the Islamic words made Ahmad bin Hnbal prepare a catalogue , الزينة في الكلمات الإسلامية "", in which he gathered the words Islam presented or changed its denotative meaning .
III – Post – Islam:
There was a dispute about the Arabicized items in the Holy Qur'an . Abo-Obaida Mua'mar bin Al-Muthanna , 213 AH , said : " If one alleged that there is another tongue than Arabic , he made himself more self-esteemed than Allah in the statement " and concluded it with what Allah says : " Lo! We have revealed it, a Lecture in Arabic, that ye may understand." Surat Yusuf, 2.
Ab- Obaid Al-Quasem Bin Salam, 224 AH, narrated that Ibn Abbas and Mujahid and others in huge letters ( words) that the have no Arabic Tongue .
For example:
سجيل
المشكاة
اليم
الطور
أباريق
إستبرق
In his " المعرّب من كلام الأعجمي " " , Abo Mansor Al-Jawariky said " " I see that the right thing is an accordance between the two quotes , i.e. that the letters have a foreign origin but came to Arabs and were Arabized by their tongue and changed them from the foreign origin and became Arabic , and then The Holy Qur'an was revealed and these spellings were mixed with the Arab speeches ;therefore , if one said that it has an Arabic origin , he is right , and if one says that it has a foreign origin , he is right as well ." (p.p : 52-53.) .
It seems that the Arabiczation in Islamic period did not use archaic Arabic , for example ,
The Nabatti : like " الأسفار " , the Surrealism : like : الطور " ", the Hebrew : like الأسباط"" , the Hibachi : " like : "مشكاة" , or the Persian : like " أباريق و نمارق و سجيل و كافور . كافور is also a Roman word.
"تعريب الإدارة و العلوم و المصطلحات " was the most important book during that time.
IV- The Umayyad and The Abbasid succession :
There was a translation of the registers and sciences.
V- The Mamluke age:
Arabic Language became a field of study; The most two important works were : (1) " The Comprehensive " by Ibn Al-Naffis and (2) " The Introduction of Ibn Khaldon.
VI – The Modern Age:
Arabic became an Arab case and a field of study as well, and it became a national profession in the west.
VII – Arabicaization is our way to the world .
