من عجائب اللغة الإنجليزية


There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?




هناك كلمة شائعة في اللغة الإنجليزية مكونة من تسعة أحرف. وفي كل مرة تزيل أحد الأحرف منها,تبقى الكلمة صحيحة ولكن بمعنى آخر- من أول حرف حتى آخر حرف. فما هي الكلمة الأصلية؟ وما هي الكلمات الأخرى المستخرجة منها بعد حذف حرف في كل مرة؟

لا توجد كلمة واحدة في اللغة الإنجليزية يمكن ان تناغم (مثل الشعر) مع هذه الكلمات (month, orange, silver, purple)






'Dreamt' is the only English word that ends in the letters 'mt'
الفعل (Dreamt) هو الكلمة الإنجليزية الوحيدة التي تنتهي بالأحرف (mt)








هناك فقط أربع كلمات في اللغة الإنجليزية تنتهي بالأحرف (dous) وهي :
