يتوفر الجبس بورد بمقاساتٍ وأطوالٍ مختلفة تختلف حسب الطّلب وتتوفر منه ثلاثُ أنواعٍ منها الجِيبسوم البورد العادي باللّون الأبيض العاجي من جانبٍ ومن الجانب الآخر يكون باللّون البنّي أو الرّمادي، ونوعٍ آخر مقاوم للحريق يُغلّف من جانب بالكرتون المقوى ومن الجانب الآخر بغلافٍ أحمر، ونوع أخير يُقاوم الحريق والحرارة والرّطوبة يتم تكثيف مادتيّ السّيلكون والفيبر جلاس بداخله لإمداد القلب الجبسي الدّاخلي بالقوة والمتانة، ويُغلف من الجانبين بطبقةٍ من الكرتون المعالج المقوى باللّون الأخضر، ويُعدّ الأخير أفضل الأنواع وأجودها.
